Tablet coating pan R&D lab model manufactured by us offers perfect external gun positioning, wash-in-place options, highly intuitive controls, great visibility and many other features. All of its contact parts are made of AISI 316 while non-contact parts are made of AISI 304. It also has an inbuilt air handling unit, exhaust system, and anti-bearding spray nozzle. This cGMP compliant machine also comes with solution storage tank and peristaltic pump for spraying. Solution tank is equipped with air vane motor for flameproof operation.

Working Principle of Coating Pan

Tablets are placed inside the drum of the tablet coating pan R&D lab model and they spin in an orbital fashion. The plates inside the machine control majority of the operations. The nozzle sprays the coating solution as the drum spins which ensures uniform tablet coating. The spraying process continues and the machine blows hot air in tandem for a rapid tablet coating. Our 8 inch coating pan is capable of regulating the temperature to help preserve drug’s composition.

Once the spraying and coating processes are done with, the tablets are advanced to the drying section of the machine wherein they are dried using well-regulated air volume.
